Zameer's lived in Canada, India, Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, and Australia, which has made him culturally aware and able to understand behaviour in different groups and cultures. In his free time, he enjoys martial arts, fitness, nerding out on psychology, and music.
In his earlier career, Zameer worked in outreach programs in Zambia, helping with the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric patients, providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training, HIV counseling certification, psychotherapy in private and hospital settings, mindfulness training, and Domestic Violence (DV) training. While in Canada, he worked with individuals with developmental disabilities, developing assessment tools and running life skills workshops.
