Mark is a calm, well-rounded, and insightful psychologist with a deep respect for the unique challenges faced by veterans.
His therapeutic approach is centred on helping veterans regain a sense of security, connection, competence, and purpose—values that are especially important after military service. He is committed to supporting Army, RAAF, and Navy veterans in understanding and overcoming automatic patterns that may be holding them back from their full potential.
Mark has extensive experience working with PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, and relationship difficulties.
With Master's degrees in both Psychology and Addictive Behaviours, he integrates a range of evidence-based therapies, including, Cognitive Therapy, ISTDP (Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy), and Mindfulness-Based approaches. His background includes work in both private practice and residential mental health settings, giving him a well-rounded perspective on recovery and long-term well-being.
Before becoming a psychologist, Mark worked in the software industry, leading a business expansion in the United States. This experience taught him firsthand about stress, career transitions, and high-pressure environments—things many veterans can relate to. His personal journey also led him to mindfulness and psychology, which now shape the way he helps others.
