David is a Psychologist and a licensed roof plumber. His unique background has motivated him to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues for people who work in construction and blue-collar occupations. David can help individuals experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, low motivation, and adjustment disorder. He can also provide career coaching for those looking to change or further their careers.

David is an understanding psychologist and curious to understand each individual’s story and perspective. He utilises a person-centred approach to therapy and is committed to finding the right therapy for each individual. David is proficient in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psycho-education, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). He believes that every person is unique and requires a unique approach to support their personal growth.

David has experience working with diverse groups. He believes that everybody should have access to therapy and feel comfortable working with their therapist. He has worked with people with disabilities, and enjoys working with people who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ communities. David always endeavours to understand people’s circumstances and is sensitive to each individual person’s needs.

David enjoys camping and keeping fit with calisthenics, as well as attending live comedy, cabaret and drag shows in his free time.
